About Me
Gordon Heeps is Managing Partner and a founding partner of RedMark Realty, LLC, a commercial real estate brokerage serving Albany, Saratoga Springs, Schenectady, Troy, Clifton Park, and the surrounding Capital Region of New York. Since beginning his real estate career in 2003, Gordon has specialized in tenant representation, landlord representation, commercial property sales and leasing, and investment sales across the retail, office, and industrial sectors.
Gordon works with national and regional companies, local businesses, commercial property owners, and investors. His experience includes identifying locations for business expansion, negotiating commercial leases, marketing properties for sale or lease, and evaluating acquisition and redevelopment opportunities.
As a commercial real estate broker, developer, investor, and landlord, Gordon understands transactions from both the client’s and property owner’s perspective. He considers how location, zoning, building conditions, operating costs, and development requirements affect a property’s suitability and long-term value. His relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and financial institutions help clients coordinate due diligence and move projects toward completion.
Gordon is also a founding partner of RedMark Advisory, LLC, specializing in sourcing acquisition opportunities and facilitating business sales for regional companies seeking to grow through acquisitions. This work complements his commercial real estate practice, helping clients align business expansion with their property needs.
In addition, Gordon is a founding partner of HHBK, LLC, and MAG Land Development, LLC. His development and ownership experience brings practical insight to commercial real estate acquisitions, leasing, and property repositioning throughout Upstate New York and select Northeast markets.
Gordon received a 2023 Power 50 award recognizing his influence in the Capital Region business community. He also supports charitable organizations and organizes events for veterans at the Albany Veterans Hospital.
Gordon studied at the American University of Paris and Pace University in New York City, earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Management and Economics.
